My story
I'm Phebe — a public health graduate who fell in love with what data can do when it's actually put to work. My background trained me to think about people, systems, and outcomes; data analysis gave me the tools to measure them.
I care about turning numbers into stories that anyone, regardless of age or background, can understand and act on. One thing keeps pulling at me though: the gap between all the good work being done and the results we actually see from it.
I keep noticing it, especially in public health, a field I studied and still hold close to heart. We educate, we sensitize, we run program after program — but how often do we go back and ask, "did this actually work? did it reach who it needed to reach? did it change anything?" That question won't leave me alone. I don't know yet if this becomes my specialty, but it's shaping how I think about every dataset I touch: not just what does this show, but what should we do differently because of it.
So for now, consider me a data analyst sharpening my tools, staying curious across industries — but quietly building toward a future where I help organizations, teams, communities, and individuals measure not just effort, but effectiveness (public health especially).
